Hoop of the Month: January 2021

To kick off the new year and our new hoop of the month spotlight, I thought it fitting to share my "Deathly Hallows" hoop. This was the first pattern I came up with under my new brand of Lovegood Stitchery, it was also my first time designing something from scratch. While I love the hallows symbol on it's on, if I was going to stitch it, I wanted to add a little something more to it. To pay homage to the houses of Hogwarts, I chose to add flowers with colors representing the house it belongs to. Still paying homage to the story, the flowers breathe new life and whimsy into the bold black symbol.
