Salutations!

Hello everyone! Welcome to our new #LovegoodStitchery blog!! I thought what better way to kick off our new website and blog than to introduce myself and this little business baby I created.

I suppose I should start by introducing myself. My name is Jules and I'm the Stitch Witch in charge here at #LovegoodStitchery. I never anticipated starting a business, being a stay at home mom of two kids (both under 5) is a job in itself, but life has a funny way of bringing you joy in the most unexpected ways.

I picked up an embroidery kit from Target in early 2019. I had intended on making a unicorn for my daughter's room. Instead, I discovered an artform that filled my soul with joy. By late summer, I had completed dozens of pieces and had a few friends request to make them a piece or two. I slowly began selling more pieces. By October, I had picked a business name and convinced myself to see where this journey would take me. With each new piece I found myself falling more and more in love with this artform and producing unique pieces to bring joy to others.

With this business, I hope to collaborate with people from all walks of life to create things people only dream of. My pieces range from traditional floral pieces to nerdy references all the way to some after hours themed hoops that are sure to excite. Each piece allows me to try new things and get to know the people who I collaborate with. I have gotten to make hoops for friends' newborn babies, celebrating their birth and commemorating all those little details. These one of a kind pieces hold special places in my heart. Pushing the boundaries of this artform is a fun challenge and I can't wait to see what I'll stitch up in the future.
